TJI_SHOCKED-face
I saw somebody's Facebook post on a mutual friend of ours from high school (which admittedly for me is over 10 years ago now) and so I decided to take a bold new step in my Facebook experience, and use the friend finder to see what peeps I went to hs are up to these days.

Of course, not being any of their friends, all you get is their profile pic, but still. Profile pics say a lot about a person.

The funniest part for me is that I didn't recognize either the names or the faces of probably half the people a year older / younger / my year. Wait, I went to school with you, huh? Really?

Most people I did recognize haven't changed much (judging from their occupation / educational pursuits / picture).

But what amused me the most (and made me feel a bit old) is that every girl I dated or was even casually involved with in high school…now has a kid.

THAT is weird.

They all look like they're doing well though, and for the most part they're all still – cough – good looking. I guess I knew how to pick 'em. What, it's just an observation. I'm not a homewrecker. haha.

It's seriously weird though to think about.

Kids, pay attention to what you're doing, and make good decisions. Coz someday those girls and boys will be mommy's and daddy's, but they'll still remember what you did in the back seat of a car down by the river.

I said you, not me. Sheesh. I was higher class than that. I had a van.
