While AI is a useful tool, humanity is desperate for the wisdom and methodology of nature from millennia past
I sat down to write a snarky post about AI for LinkedIn and realized even at my worst (best?) I wouldn’t be able to top the absurdity of what gets posted to that platform on any given day and celebrated as brave and inspiring and insightful.
But the reality is that the world needs less sarcasm, not more of it.
We need more human-initiated stories and real lessons, not GPT slop masquerading as epiphany.
So while I could craft a tongue-in-cheek press release about novel uses for agentic AI in reading your gut microbiome nutrient deficiences and how BEEGHEE® is now an AI company raising $187M closing next week…throwing shade at the gambling industry- errr, I mean VC- isn’t a worthwhile use of mental energy.
Bubbles do their thing on their own, as is their nature.
And that’s the real takeaway – because nature also does its thing, without technological manipulation, and in some cases, without even human intervention.
For example, Hive Fermentation™ at the core of Beeghee, we call the Fifth Ferment™, because unlike alcohol, bread, cheese, and vinegar, honeybee fermentation does not require human intervention in any manner.
Bees ferment for themselves, ancient wisdom which has powered the planet’s most active and important pollinators from within the colony, untouched and unimproved for millennia.
While we believe in human innovation-
always and in every sector, which is why top-down central planning fails, because it does not believe-
we’re not claiming to have created a new foodstuff, a revolutionary medicine, or foodtech that will change the world if only enough people are forced to consume it.
We’re just bringing what we’ve discovered exists naturally and has remarkable impact on human health -naturally- to share with the world.
As a delicious, mouth-happy food you eat slowly, with friends.
A daily ritual, in gratitude, for the vitality and functionality which it brings.
Something sacred, the result of the hard work and synergy between thousands of bees and flowers, sunshine and rain.
So while it would be easy to posture, to exaggerate, to spout reams of hyperbole while patting ourselves on the back for our brilliance, the truth is that we’re mostly just the middleman, bringing the pure electricity of little fuzzy arthropods to the mouths and guts (and hearts and minds!) of humans everywhere.
That might not be investable, or have an impassable enough moat, but it’s real.
And I’ll bet on real over artificial every day of the week.
We’re not trying to replace nature, condescend to our ancestors, or infuse raw nutrients with synthetic pattern recognition in an attempt to “improve” what’s already light-years ahead of so many failed multi-billion $ ESG sectors over the past couple decades.
We’re just sharing what we’ve found, a powerful potion perfected by nature, fermented by bees, and awakened for each and every one of you.
I know this because I strive to remain rooted in reality, and I know what it’s done for me. 💪 😃
