Few things in life piss me off more than imbecilic Christians. A coach was fired because his basketball team won 100-0. FIRED! For WINNING!

Thankfully, he has not caved to the pressure and has posted a statement that he disagrees with his school’s decision. His players back him up. GOOD! Read Coach Grimes’ statement because it is an awesome response to the flak he’s getting.

God is not a pushover, not a pansy, not afraid of kicking some unholy butt. I wonder if the school officials who are so “ashamed” have even read their Bible? God is just, sure…but justice brings with it some pretty brutal victories.

It’s so pathetic that worthless school board people think it’s wrong to run up the score. Guess what kiddies, LIFE’S ROUGH! Sometimes you WILL get your ass kicked 100-0, and you know what? The sooner you learn that, and learn how to dust yourself off and keep on trucking, the better off you’re going to be!

But when the “grownups” try and insulate you from real life, and especially in the name of some “golden rule” bullshit, you’re getting a totally skewed view of reality.

I’ve been on both sides of the coin – I’ve lost by 50 and I’ve won by 50. I learned from both of them, because I HAD TO.

Stop insulating kids! Goodnight stuff like this pisses me off.

Those who can’t win always hate those who do.

And this…oh man:

“It is shameful and an embarrassment that this happened. This clearly
does not reflect a Christlike and honorable approach to competition,”
said the statement, signed by [Kyle] Queal and board chair Todd Doshier.”

Oh really, Todd? Really, Kyle? Maybe your Jesus just looooved everybody and had no spine, but my Jesus cleaned out the Temple with a freaking whip and kicked some holy hell for 3 days in the grave. Are you going to serve Christ notice that he’s fired because his behavior is – ahem – unChristlike?

IT’S COMPETITION. What part of that word don’t you understand? What, should we ban scoreboards now? Should teenage girls play basketball “just for fun”, because God forbid there’s a winner and a – gulp – loser?

And Christians wonder why “evil” is running rampant around the world. Maybe it’s because most Christians take the same attitude towards sticking up for their so-called beliefs that they do towards winning.
