Nancy Lamka is a classical pianist and one of the most gifted musicians I’ve ever met. I’ve helped her with a few things over the years but she’s been through a lot and has not really been able to push forward full-speed in a consistent direction with her music.
The idea for Airport Angel came from discussions we had about a year ago with how to monetize and spread the live music program that has been so successful at PDX. Those in charge of the program are hardly enthused about growing it even there (despite great feedback from travelers!), let alone expanding it around the country and globe.
I see opportunity. I told her to just go for it and see what happens, and I’ll expand the plan as I have time and its profitability looks promising.
If nothing else though, it’s a great brand for her to use, one of my favorites that I’ve done thus far.
