I’m reminded of a great analogy from Good To Great as I venture forward with some new biz ideas.

"Get the right people on the bus, first...then decide where to drive it."

Aye aye, captain.

Sometimes the fastest way to success is to wait.

Productively, patiently, but ready to rock at a moment’s notice.

I haven’t seen much greatness come from haste, but I sure have out of patience.

Teambuilding is not something that happens overnight.

Many times it’s the result of a lifetime of relationships.

Perhaps that’s why it’s important to make every interaction count?

My name (reputation) is my most valuable asset.

It pays to be real, trustworthy, a person of integrity.

Those are the kind of people I want on my bus. Logic would seem to indicate they’d be in demand on all buses worth riding…
